This is an interesting one. For those of you that have'nt had a look at Adobe Creative Suite CS4, this site showcases some of what's possible using the latest version of Adobe's software. The nagivation is a bit flaky in places, but lots of striking visuals, and a few interesting videos hidden throughout. Well worth a visit.

Another nice web design agency site, utilising Flash. At forst glance it looks very plain and simple, but spend a little time exploring and find the splashes of colour and interactivity.

LOL. What can I say, I have just found probably the maddest web site I have ever seen. I'm not even sure where to start when i comes to describing this site to be honest. Big bright bold colors, crazy characters and sound effects, immersive/infuriating navigation, and some bonkers sound effects (if you think you can hear your hard drive making wierd noises, don't worry, its this site - it took me a while to realise!) Really cool, original use of Flash, it opened my eyes to how far Flash design has progressed recently.

My colleague Nick found this one, the Australian architectural design agency Rice Daubney has an interesting web site, which makes extensive use of Flash and video. Well worth checking out, one of the best flash sites I have seen for some time, although probably a site for those of you with a slow connection. The "people" section is particularly interesting. Check it out for yourself.

Describing themselves as a "creative energy company" MCBD certainly live up it! With clients including Debenhams, Waitrose, The Metropolitan Police among others, not to mention the brilliant Hovis TV compaign, their site has to get quite a message across. Nice flash site, interesting way of presenting their message. See what you think!

Stunning. Just visit this Flash site and see for yourself. Don't hit the continue button until you have watched a few minutes of the intro video, or you'll miss some really nice touches. Protect 7-7 is an art installation which will be displayed on an area of Antarctica in 2009, by artist Wim Tellier. The site is just beautiful. Well worth exploring

In this tutorial, you will learn how to make a Flash parallax scrolling gallery from scratch. Parallax scrolling is frequently used in most 2D animation and games, where the background images and foreground images scroll at different rate of speed. This will create an illusion of depth as the background images are moving slower than the foreground images.
